Feedback from our customersWirelessThe Edimax USB stick has been working a treat with my home wireless system ever since. Please put me down as a satisfied customer! Once again, thank you very much for your assistance. Kind regards Jim The Linux Emporium listened to my needs and recommended the Edimax 54 Mbps Wireless USB stick with Antenna. I needed to add a Linux PC and a Windows PC to my BT home network. The Linux PC was fantastic, I plugged in the wireless stick and it immediately found the network and worked! The windows PC was in a room at the opposite end of the house so signal strength was my main concern. I needn't have worried, the antenna picks up the wireless signal brilliantly, even going through three walls and a floor the signal strength is very good most of the time, occasionally dropping down to good. Simon Streeton, Phoenix Business Coaching Just to let you know it works a treat with Ubuntu v8.04 'Hardy Heron' - 32 & 64 bit variants - as stated. Also works 'out of the box' with Ubuntu v8.10 'Intrepid Ibex' (32 and 64 bit variants) & Puppy Linux v 4.1 & is fully 'hot pluggable' with all variants. Supports WEP & WPA security on all three as well. Stuart Just a note to say thanks for shipping my router and network card in a timely manner, for packing them up sensibly, and for generally being pretty darned good. The router with Tomato on it is excellent, and I shall be recommending it to anyone who will listen. Thanks again and merry Christmas, Peter. Hi, thanks for your great website, info., and speedy service. Puppy linux 4.1.2 - immediate wireless connection with Comtrend-pcmcia RT2500. Cheers, Peter Training
Comprehensive introduction to Python. The staff have an excellent body of knowledge and are able to present complex Topics well, yet have the background to delve deeper. Thoroughly worthwhile.
A very good course, well presented and the exercises were well-structured
to enable learning of new content at a good pace.
Nice person, professional in topic of the course.
The last two days were most interesting (including functional
programming, OO, handling modules).
Real life examples were interesting.
Very good introduction to Python and programming in general,
next door were very noisy though! [Note. customer's site]
Considering that I am a very inexperienced programmer I benefitted a
great deal from the course. This was due to John's patience and
perseverance and one-one tuition. Sometimes found it difficult to
keep up. It would have helped if we had access to course notes
for reference. Very good handouts, training materials.
LaptopsJust a quick thanks for the service received. I got answers to my questions prior to purchase almost immediately. Once i had ordered the laptop i received it the next day , booted it up and within minutes was connected to the Internet via wireless. Within the next hour i had the router emulation software i needed up and running. I think the service received so far has been second to none and i would happily recommend you to any of my friends. I have full confidence that if i have any problems they will be addressed in the same professional manner. Once again, many thanks for an excellent service Jon
I would just like to say I have never had such personal/customised service from an on-line retailer I thought you might like to know that the Asus X58L I ordered from you last Monday morning arrived safely about midday on the Tuesday. Since then I've been using it constantly, and am very happy with it. This is my first Linux system, after trying out Ubuntu on VirtualBox over the past year and a half, and so far I can see no reason to go back to using Windows fulltime. Of course there are a couple of trivial bugs - the main one is the tendency of the wifi connection to cut out every so often - but I'm sure these will be sorted out as the drivers continue to be developed. Thanks again for your service, Colin Other ProductsI can't can't thank you enough for correcting my order from 32-bit to 64-bit versions of OpenSuse and Kubuntu - and sending the order so speedily. I'm sending this from Kubuntu and it's a bit impressive, but not as impressive as your good selves. If other companies were able to operate as efficiently I'd do less shopping on foot - but when dealing with most retailers I still find I need someone to shout at :) thanks again, I'll be recommending you.
