Free CDs
We have a policy of giving superseded CDs away for free. These are CDs which would otherwise be wasted but they're only slightly out of date and this way more people get to try out Linux. (It's better than throwing them in the bin anyway.) All you have to pay for is the postage and packing.
In the interests of promoting free, free software, we're also offering single CDs of Debian GNU/Linux (latest version) for free.
The on-line ordering system restricts the number free CDs which can be ordered to 1. If you have a good reason to want more, contact us.
Single CD Debian GNU/Linux
One CD £0.00This is the latest version of Debian GNU/Linux, also known as Sarge. The single CD gives you enough to do a basic installation, including a Gnome desktop.
If you're not sure which of the options you want then you almost certainly want the default - i386.
Remember that although the CD is free you do have to pay for postage. That's 2.00 in the UK, 3.00 for the rest of Europe and 5.00 ROW.
